Hi, I'm Alexa.

I'm a Product Designer based in New York City. It took me a while to figure that all out. In college, I went back and forth between Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science a few times until I realized I don't want to just solve problems, like how to put a satellite into space or search a tree. I want to solve problems for people. I chose Product Design because it allows me to combine my passions for technical and creative problem solving with empathy and a human-first approach, and I've never looked back since.

I've worked as a designer at Amazon Web Services (go ahead, give me your best Alexa joke) and startups in luxury ski retail and AI services. I'm also the cofounder of a fashion movement called Vroom Vroom that's all about going fast and having fun.

I'm currently working as a UX Architect at IHS Markit. If you are looking to get in touch, you can reach me via the following:

If you want to learn some more about me first, keep scrolling.

I'm a big picture thinker with a product mindset.

I understand the larger intent behind each project I take on, and approach their smaller elements in context of this vision.

I speak everyone's language.

With my background in computer science, I can effectively collaborate with engineers and present complex ideas in intuitive ways to stakeholders and customers alike.

I'm an optimistic leader.

I motivate my teammates by looking for creative solutions that get things done rather than focusing just on problems.
